Important remarks:

The "Student" category includes only undergraduate students in Optics and Optometry and excludes postgraduate students and students from other types of private training activities specialised in optometry. To confirm the registration as a student you have to send an e-mail to  info@siodec.org a copy of the document that certifies that you are enrolled in this course and a copy of your identity document.

The Eastern European countries* in Group III are: Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Moldova, Poland, Hungary, Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Armenia, Russia, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Romania, Moldova and Bulgaria.

COI students have special enrollment conditions and should contact SIODEC in writing by sending an e-mail to info@siodec.org .

If you are a SIODEC mentor or corrector, please mark this on the registration form and you will receive an invoice with the discount already applied so that you can pay it. 

If you present an open presentation or a poster at the Congress, please mark it in the registration form. Once it has been approved by the Scientific Committee, you will receive a coupon by email so you can take advantage of the discount and reflect it on your registration.

Registration includes:

Advanced pre-Congress course registration: Attendance at the course sessions I Course material I Access to the course online platform I Certificate of assistance I 2 coffee breaks (to be served in Hall I): one on Wednesday afternoon and one on Thursday morning.

Course y Congress: includes everything specified above in the Advanced Pre-Congress Course and in the Congress.

What do you need to register and what is the deadline?  

The last day to register for the advanced course, the Congress and the fancy dress party is October, 5th 2022.

To complete your registration you will need:

  • Identity document (Spanish DNI, NIE, identity card or passport);

  • Registered member number (for Spain and countries where it exists);

  • If you are a speaker with an accepted open presentation or poster, the code assigned to you from info@siodec.org

  • You must have one of the following means of payment: debit or credit card (VISA or MasterCard), PayPal account or bank account (if you choose to pay by bank transfer). 

Cancellations:

Participant substitutions are allowed. Both substitutions and cancellations must be communicated in writing toinfo@siodec.org.

Cancellation terms:

If you cancel before September, 12th a penalty of 20% will be applied to the amount paid to cover administrative expenses.

If you cancel between September, 13th and 20th a penalty of 50% will be applied to the amount paid to cover administrative expenses.

For cancellations requested after September, 20th the penalty will be 100%. The replacement of the assistant is permitted.
